More Photos from the Village School in Udaipur

This is the outside of the Government School Biyhda


Notice that it is one story high, like Bowman. 


Here is one of the hallways.  They are covered but open to the outside.  The temperature in the Udaipur area is mild this time of year - 45 degrees at night and 85 degrees during the day.  This is considered the cold, dry season.


This is the principal's office.


In this picture you can see the entire assembly room.

It is the … staff room!


Here you can see how girls and boys sit separately and at table desks.



This school has 177 students.  Many of the teachers were away the day that we visited proctoring government exams.  Older students led many of the classes.
